Step 1
Your dentist will get custom trays made specifically for you. Then, load gel into your custom bleaching tray.
Step 2
Brush your teeth, then insert the tray. Lightly tap the tray to adapt its sides to teeth. The wear time will depend on the percentage of gel your dentist has recommended.
Step 3
Remove excess gel with a clean finger or soft toothbrush. Rinse twice, do not swallow rinses.
Step 4
Clean the tray with a soft brush and cool tap water. If significant sensitivity occurs, consult your dentist.

Answers to Commonly Asked Questions Before Your Home Teeth Whitening Appointment
To start your home teeth whitening process, your dentist will first create custom trays tailored to fit your teeth precisely. Once you receive your custom trays, you’ll load them with whitening gel provided by your dentist.
Next, after brushing your teeth, you’ll carefully insert the tray, ensuring it fits snugly against your teeth. Lightly tapping the tray helps to adapt its sides for optimal contact with your teeth. The duration of wear will depend on the concentration of the whitening gel your dentist recommends. Using clean and dry trays, apply a very small quantity of gel to each reservoir section inside the tray facing the cheeks – the amount may need adjusting initially. 1-2mm of gel per tooth.
Sleep with the filled trays and take them out when you wake up. Remove the trays gently and rinse your mouth with water. Please brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste after removing the trays. You You can use mouthwash and /or Waterflosser if you wish.
Finally, clean the whitening tray using a soft brush and cool tap water to ensure it’s ready for future use. If you experience significant sensitivity during the whitening process, it’s essential to consult your dentist for guidance and possible adjustments to your treatment plan.
